Quilt Scene Magazine

For a couple of weeks I have been stalking the guy who puts out the magazines at my local big-box-book-store.  I’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for the new IQF Quilt Scene magazine to hit the shelves.

In August I sent my quilt “Portraits of Flora” to Quilting Arts Magazine, so it could get its portrait taken for the magazine. Here it is on page 84, right next to Jeanne Brenner and Marueen O’Doogan’s quilt “The Secret Life of Dancing Tulips”.

The magazine is full of beautiful and inspiring quilts that I can’t wait to see next week in Houston. Thanks to my mom and dad who will be taking care of my kid, house, and cat (in that order), so my husband and I can ogle the quilts in person.

Way to go, Timna! Monday I’ll be checking all the magazine sections in town. Have a great time in Houston.
