2009
Orphan Blossoms is a combination of old and new fabrics. I bought the center Dresden Plates off of eBay, took them off of their muslin background and re-appliqued them onto the green fabrics. The corner arcs were cut ouf of an old fan quilt top. All other fabrics, including the 1" appliqued circles are new fabrics. Hand appliqued, machine and hand quilted.
Orphan Blossoms was the Signature Quilt of the International Quilt Festival Long Beach 2011.
